What happens to my photo once I send it in?
We take your ownership of your photos very seriously. The photo will always remain your property. We might only use it to promote this Xpozer Photo Contest via our blog or social media channels. If you want, feel free to add a (little) water mark to your photo. Here are the terms & conditions.
THE EXPERT JURY 
rick & Ron HEERES
Ron and Rick are father and son with a passion for nature and the outdoors. They enjoy wildlife the most, and preferably with a camera to capture all the beauty.
After Ron's first experiences in South Africa in 2008, with a compact camera, a year later they bought a DSLR with a zoom lens. After a few years, when Rick also started actively photographing, they found that the camera has become an extension of themselves and goes everywhere with them.
"Because of Rick's ecological training, we are focused on animals. Birds of prey and owls are surely our favorite to photograph. But this does not mean that we only want to photograph these.
With increasing knowledge of both animal behaviour and photography, we have found that more and more often we are able to take the picture we had in mind. But in the end, it is mainly about the experience of the moment and not disturbing the animal, and the photo afterwards is a nice memento."
"In the wild, we adapt to the conditions (weather and supply). You have to make do with what is there at the time. That can sometimes produce beautiful and surprising results."
